Are you a racing fool? An Erg Rat extraordinaire? Well, here it is. We made it easy for you to join the year-round virtual erg racing action with an event bundle that will keep you motivated all year. Stay on the train and stay focused with our challenging and fun line-up of events.

Register once and gain access to all of our year-round virtual erg races! We’re saving you time and money by bundling them into one registration. When you purchase the Extravaganza, you are automatically entered into the Ergon Metron, the Metron Maximus, and Fools Fest Sprints. Get in!

    Rowers who purchase the Erg Rat Extravaganza Package are automatically entered in all of our race series, the Ergon Metron, Metron Maximus, and Fools Fest Sprints. Each distance event raced in the Extravaganza will be applied to all your series standings.

All of our virtual races will be conducted ONLINE using the ERGZONE.
The app is free to download in your mobile app store.

Full Package Entry - $250 (ALL THE MERCH associated with each series, solo race, and challenge. All social media share images for each event.)
Speed Pass Entry - $175 (Access to all series, solo races, and challenges, but no merch or media unless a division winner in the Only Fools Do 2Ks. Division winners in the 2K will receive a medal.)

Registration opens on June 1, 2024 and closes on July 9, 2024.

Registration for the Erg Rats Extravaganza is now closed. Racers may still enter the remaining races as solo events.

 
 
 
 

Race Rules & Info

Age Divisions

  • SGGM = Super Great Grand Master > 70

  • GGM = Great Grand Master > 60

  • GM = Grand Master – 50-60

  • M = Master – 27-49

  • O = Open – 20-26

  • JR = Junior – 0-19

Weight Categories

  • Lightweight Women: <= 135lbs (61.5kg)

  • Heavyweight Women: > 135 lbs (61.6kg)

  • Lightweight Men <= 165lbs (75kg)

  • Heavyweight Men > 165lbs (75kg)

Adaptive Categories

  • PR1

  • PR2

  • PR3

RACERS IN OTHER TIME ZONES may compete on race day at their local time, but they MUST submit their results within 24 hours of completing the event.

COMPETING ON AN OLDER MODEL ERG? You can still compete if your erg doesn't have a PM5 monitor. You cannot participate in live racing, but your score will count in the official results and rankings. Just enter your race time manually on the Ergzone app with a screenshot of your monitor so we can verify your results.

  • Manual Submissions must be entered no later than 24 hours past the official race date and have the correct time per your location to be counted in the official rankings and posted on our website.

  • Make sure the date on your monitor is correct!
